Job Description

The  programme
Spend  four  years  learning  from  our  expert  team  and  you'll  gain  the  sort  of  practical  knowledge  you  simply  can't  develop  in  the  classroom.  That's  because  you'll  experience  the  full  breadth  of  our  global  supply  chain  as  you  take  on  placements  in  different  areas  of  our  business.  As  well  as  getting  on-the-job  training  on  real-life  projects,  you'll  also  study  a  BA  (Hons)  in  Management  &  Leadership  delivered  at  a  range  of  universities  across  the  UK  -  so  you'll  enjoy  the  best  of  both  worlds  as  you  carve  out  a  career  in  supply  chain  management.
What  you'll  do
The  importance  of  our  global  supply  chain  can't  be  overstated.  The  team  here  make  sure  components,  parts  and  products  are  where  they  need  to  be,  when  they  need  to  be  there,  right  across  the  world.  They're  responsible  for  a  supply  chain  that  starts  with  raw  materials  being  extracted  from  the  ground  and  ends  with  high-specification  materials  being  put  into  an  engine.  You'll  get  broad  experience  as  you  carry  out  your  placements;  delving  into  the  detail  of  how  materials  get  from  A  to  B,  the  packaging  we  use,  and  even  making  improvements  to  this  complex  supply  chain.  All  of  which  will  equip  you  to  manage  the  day-to-day  delivery  of  components  as  a  Material  Resource  Planning  Controller  once  you  complete  the  programme.  As  you  grow  and  develop,  you'll  discover  lots  of  fulfilling  career  opportunities  in  supply  chain  management.

The Successful Applicant

We're  looking  for  individuals  who  are  driven,  passionate  about  delivering  on  commitments  and  keen  to  learn  about  what  makes  a  global  business  operate  successfully.  You'll  be  a  logical  and  analytical  thinker  -  someone  with  a  common-sense  approach  when  it  comes  to  working  with  data  and  coming  up  with  solutions  to  challenges.  Beyond  that,  we  ask  for  three  A-Levels  at  grades  A  to  C,  plus  GCSEs  in  Maths,  English,  Science  and  one  other  subject  at  grade  C  and  above.  Alternatively,  if  you  don't  have  A-Levels  or  GCSEs,  we  also  accept  SQA  HNDs  and  HNCs,  Scottish  Highers  and  relevant  BTEC  Level  3  National  Certificates  and  Diplomas.  You're  someone  who  can  work  well  with  others  and  you'll  also  be  able  to  demonstrate  your  achievements  outside  school  or  college.

• A  competitive  salary  starting  from  £12,657  a  year  and  increasing  as  you  complete  your  training
• A  competitive  pension,  and  33  days?  holiday  per  year  (inclusive  of  Bank  Holidays)
