Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
The placement will be to join the Aftersales Service Operations team for one week to learn about how we are an integral function of the business and the skills that are required to follow a career in Aftersales.
Service Operations are accountable for providing literature to support the dealer network with accurate workshop and parts information.
The week long placement will comprise of –
- Shadowing technical authors that are producing parts catalogues and workshop information
- Understanding CAD model creation to produce images for the parts catalogue
- Understanding the importance of customer service through daily business reviews
- Creation of workshop procedures by removing vehicle parts from Bentley products
- Understanding the overall, high level service operations departmental process
If successful, the dress code for this placement is smart/casual (trousers with no zips, buckles or belts, and a polo shirt or t-shirt). Safety boots are mandatory for this placement and must be supplied by the successful candidate and no jewellery is worn except for a small watch.
Successful candidates are expected to make their own way to work everyday and remain punctual throughout the week.
The Successful ApplicantQualifications:
Applicants must be currently studying towards their GCSE’s or A Level’s/equivalent and must have obtained/be on track for at least A* - C grades/equivalent in all core subjects at GCSE level (Maths, Science, English).

We understand that you may have limited work experience, but you should be mature, professional and eager to learn. Quality in our business is top priority and we need individuals who can demonstrate a high focus on quality and a right first time attitude.
What's on Offer- 1 week duration
- Located at main site in Crewe
- Working hours for this placement are 8am until 5pm Monday - Thursday, and 8am until 12pm Friday
We want you to get the most out of your time at Bentley and when you start you will sit down with your placement manager and discuss your placement objectives - both business and personal. These can then be measured throughout the week, and discussed at your end of placement review.
